Sudirman Cup 2025 – India Squad Announced
India will compete in the BWF Sudirman Cup Finals starting April 27 in Xiamen, China, with a 14-member squad named by the Badminton Association of India (BAI).
Key Highlights:
- Satwik-Chirag, the World No. 10 men’s doubles team, return to boost India’s chances.
- Gayatri Gopichand and Treesa Jolly are ruled out due to injury.
- New entrants Priya Konjengbam and Shruti Mishra will take their place.
India’s Group:
Placed in Group D, India will face tough ties against Indonesia, Denmark, and England.
“We’ve built depth across all disciplines and are ready to challenge the best,” said Sanjay Mishra, BAI General Secretary.
